Brand Identity Design Contest
In this contest, I was tasked with designing the visual identity for a fictional futuristic car brand that specialized in flying cars. The challenge was to create a brand that exuded modernity, cutting-edge technology, and luxury.
With a comprehensive brief at hand, I developed an innovative proposal that captured the dynamic and forward-thinking spirit of the brand. The final concept was showcased in a live transmission, demonstrating how the design truly embodies the essence of a revolutionary automotive future.
Each participant received a brief outlining the car company and its requirements. The main goal was to design a brand identity that could represent the innovative flying cars.
To achieve this, I conducted in-depth research on levitation principles (exploring how these cars could work), as well as on the target market, competitors, and industry trends.
Based on my research, a symbol was essential for the brand as it would serve as a recognizable representation, whether on the car hood or the wheel. The symbol abstracted the levitation process.
To convey modernity and technology, I chose a light typography and modified it by cutting certain elements.
The result was a contemporary brand identity that could be applied seamlessly across various mediums, including vehicles, digital and print advertising, and stationery.
At the end of the contest, the judges selected my proposal as the best. Among them was Marco Creativo, a prominent influencer in the world of graphic design and branding within Spanish-speaking countries.
